1. Acceptance of These Terms

Show Margin is a mobile application that helps people track live events, evaluate ticket value, and optionally share selected activity with friends. By downloading, accessing, or using Show Margin, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Show Margin.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Show Margin. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will terminate the account and delete associated personal information, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use Show Margin only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and sign-in credentials.
• You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate another person or create accounts for anyone other than yourself.
• Usernames are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We may reclaim usernames that violate these Terms or that infringe another person's rights.
• You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings.

4. Your Content

Show Margin lets you create content such as tracked events, ratings, notes, ticket prices, companion names, and profile information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process your User Content solely as needed to operate and improve Show Margin. For example, we show your shared activity to friends you have connected with, and we compute aggregate statistics. This license ends when your content or account is deleted, except where retention is required by law or where content has already been aggregated into anonymous statistics.

5. Acceptable Use

When using Show Margin, you agree that you will not:

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion and without prior notice.

Show Margin has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We act on reports promptly, remove content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or close the account that posted it.

6. Reporting and Moderation

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. We remove such content and may suspend or delete accounts that post it.

You can report a user or specific content from their profile in the app, and you can block users to stop all contact between your accounts. We review reports promptly and act on violations of these Terms, which may include removing content, restricting features, or terminating accounts. You can also reach us at support@showmargin.com.

7. Third-Party Services and Content

• Event, performer, and venue information in Show Margin comes from third-party sources (including SeatGeek and open data providers). We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or availability, and event details may change without notice.
• Ticket purchases are completed on third-party sites (such as SeatGeek), under that provider's own terms. We are not a party to your ticket purchase and are not responsible for pricing, fulfillment, refunds, or the event itself. Links to tickets may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission on purchases.
• Apple Music features, if you enable them, are provided subject to Apple's terms. Show Margin is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple. Apple and Apple Music are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
• Venue verification uses data from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Performer verification uses data from MusicBrainz.
• Pre-show spot search uses Google Maps. Your use of Google Maps features in Show Margin is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

SeatGeek, Inc. and its affiliates are intended third-party beneficiaries of Sections 5, 7, 10, 11 and 12 of these Terms and may enforce those sections directly against you.

8. Our Intellectual Property

Show Margin, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app except as permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Show Margin and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to Show Margin at any time if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 8, 10, 11, and 12) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

SHOW MARGIN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT EVENT INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF SHOW MARGIN. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY DOLLARS (US $50) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your use of Show Margin, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and may provide additional notice in the app. Your continued use of Show Margin after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
